While the Covid-19 pandemic turns into an endemic, Oskar Lehrner (University professor & world Traveler) and his wife Ursula Foster decided to travel to Iran for the second time, but this time they planned 8 Weeks Travel & Adventure in Iran, with their own vehicle (Toyota Landcruiser 1978 HZJ). Regardless of all the worries about Covid-19 as well as the difficulties of this long trip, they began the journey with Iranistour’s company support and their own experience as well as all the efforts they’ve made. They made the trip to the end with a lot of adventure, new experiences, and joyful memories besides the very nice and welcoming Iranian people.
The suggested itinerary from Iranistour included several parts of the Dasht- e Kavir (central desert), National desert park, Murghab, and Rig- e Jenn, they could go off-road in the original heels of this region.
Since they were interested in local people, they spent several days with the Bakhtiari tribe, in the foothills of Zagros mountain, and days on the Hormoz island in the Persian Gulf.
Also, they were highly attracted to Iranian handy crafts, so they visited different shops in Tabriz, Tehran, Yazd, and Isfahan to get to know these crafts and artists from a closer view.
This is a great pleasure for Iranistour that hosted Oskar and Ursula and offer them services from the beginning in the visa process, tour guide, excursion of the desert, and local guide, we are delighted to be a prt of this memorable and interesting journey.
