Expedition in the desert of Rig-e Jenn

Rig-e Jenn Desert is a mysterious place in the middle of Dasht-e Kavir. Rig-e Jenn means “Dune of the Evil Spirits”. It is considered the adventure in the central desert of Iran with sport utility vehicle in an area as Rig-e Jenn and visiting the most important historical cities of Iran such as Tehran, Kashan, Isfahan, Yazd and Shiraz in this program. Rig-e Jenn is known as the Bermuda Triangle of Iran which is covered by sandy hills and salt swamps. That’s why no caravan could pass this area in the distant past. Some of researchers and adventurers (Sven Hedin, Alfonse Gabriel, and Ali Parsa) have been able to pass through this area from the early of the 20th century. We adventure and enjoy of intact views in the heart of the desert in this 3-day-trip of us.

Day 1. Arrival at Tehran, staying at a hotel in Tehran

Your guide welcomes you at the airport and transfers you to the hotel.

Day 2. Tehran city tour, staying at a hotel in Tehran(HB)

A visit to the great capital of Iran can be fascinating according that they are inscribed on the World Heritage List including 300-year-old palaces, and its museums. So, we will visit Golestan Palace, National Museum of Iran, Bazaar and Shah Mosque on this day.

Day 3. Heading to Kashan, staying in the camp of Central Desert (FB)

We’ll go to Kashan early in the morning and visit Fin Garden, the most famous Persian garden. Then, we enter the desert through the Zavareh road after lunch. And we set up our camp.

Day 4 & 5. Rig-e Jenn, staying in camp (FB)

Two days ahead, we’ll go adventuring in the diverse nature of Rig-e Jenn and set up our tents under the starry sky of desert every night.

Day 6. Today, we’ll spend the noon in the desert and then head to Nain (HB)

We’ll visit the mosque of Tak Menareh (Jame mosque). In the end, after 3-day-adventure of outlooks and pure moments, we will rest in the hotel.

Day 7. Moving to Isfahan, staying at a hotel in Isfahan (HB)

We’ll go to Isfahan in the morning. After visiting Khaju Bridge and Si-o-se-pol and having lunch, we’ll get a short rest. Then we’ll visit Imam Mosque, Āli Qāpu palace, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque and Gheysarieh bazaar (Grand Bazaar) in Imam square (Naqsh-e Jahan Square) which is the masterpiece of Safavie era in Iran in the afternoon.

Day 8. Isfahan city tour, staying at a hotel in Isfahan (HB)

Today morning, we’ll go to the Armenians neighborhood known as Jolfa and visit Vank Cathedral and continue the plan by visiting Isfahan Jameh Mosque. In afternoon, you’ll have free time to visit the city as your taste.

Day 9. Moving to Yazd, staying at a hotel in Yazd (HB)

On our way to Yazd, through the road, we’ll visit Narin Qal’eh in Meybod and we will continue our way to Yazd and go to the hotel for a rest.

Day 10. Yazd city tour, staying at a hotel in Yazd (HB)

We’ll visit tourist attractions in the city of Yazd, which has recently been registered on UNESCO World heritage list all day long. including Dakhma, Fire Temple, Dolat Abad Garden, Jame mosque, Fahadan neighborhood, old town neighborhood, and Bazaar.

Day 11. Departure to Shiraz (Pasargad and Perspolis), staying at a hotel in Shiraz (HB)

On this day we can compare Islamic civilization with the Achaemenid era. We’ll step in the first capital of the great Achaemenid Empire and visit the tomb of The Great Cyrus in Pasargad. After that 2500-year-old dreaming capital known as Perspolis will be waiting for us. We’ll continue our stay Shiraz at a hotel.

Day 12. Shiraz city tour, staying at a hotel in Shiraz (HB)

Cultural heritage of Shiraz is related to Zand dynasty and Qajar dynasty that we’ll visit the best architectural samples and mansions of these historical periods like Eram Persian Garden, Narenjestan e Qavam house, Arg of Karim Khan, bazaar and Nasir al-Molk mosque (Pink mosque) on this day and we’ll visit the tomb of Hafez, who was a 14th-century poet in Iran in
