Day 1: Arrival in Isfahan

Day 2: Isfahan City Tour

Isfahan is located on the eastern slope of the Zagros Mountains, the capital of the Safavid Empire. On this day we will visit the Naqsh-e Jahan Square and visit the Ali Qapu Palace, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque and Shah Mosque. After lunch, we’ll visit Vank Cathedral in the Armenian neighborhood named Julfa.

Day 3: Moving to Chelgard and Visiting Bakhtiari Nomads

Bakhtiari tribe known as tireless and hard-working people, are one of the first ethnicities in Iran. So it will definitely be a unique experience to be with these people. Today we will visit the Akhtiarian Stone Lion and the water Kouhrang Tunnel, and we’ll have a walk in Sheikh Alikhan waterfall and Chama Ice Cave.

Day 4: Going to the Arg e Googad and crossing the Zagros Mountains and Golestan Kuh Protected Area

From the beautiful Zagros Mountains, we will visit the Golestan Kuh Protected Area in Khansar, which is known as the Fritillaria Tulips (Overturned Tulips) plain. Then we will visit Arg e Googad, the second largest clay monument that is placed in Golpayegan. This stronghold is on the side road of the famous Silk Road, a trade route of ancient times dating back about four centuries.

Day 5: A Short stop in Hamedan and continuing to Kermanshah

On our way to Kermanshah, we will have a short visit to the beautiful city of Hamedan. In Hamadan, we’ll visit the Tomb of Esther and Mordechai, which is one of the most important Jewish shrines in Iran and in the world. Then we’ll continue our journey to Kermanshah.

Day 6: Kermanshah City Tour

We are going to visit Taq-e Bostan, which is a valuable memorial of the Sasanian Empire. After that, we’ll visit the of the Bisotun historical and cultural complex, a site of UNESCO World Heritage. Then we’ll walk around the Kermanshah Bazaar.

Day 7: Moving towards Palangan Village, visiting and staying at a hotel in Takht-e Soleyman

We’ll trek in Palangan, a stepped village with unique architecture. In addition of visiting monuments of Khosrow Iwan, Takht-e Soleyman and a lake that changes color like a peacock. Then we’ll visit Soleyman Prison Mountain, which has a fascinating story behind it and also the reminiscent of The Dark Knight Rises movie.

Day 8: Moving to Kandovan Village

Since the village is built in the rocks, it is known as manmade cliff dwellings of Iran. Its houses are shaped like a honeycomb in the rocks (similar to the Cappadocia village in Turkey) which is the result of volcanic activities and hand-carved structures. So hiking in it will be delightful.

Day 9: Moving to Sarein and on its path, a short stop in Ardabil

In Ardabil, we will visit Sheikh Safi al-Din Khanegah and the Ensemble Shrine. The precious and historic site was registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2010. Then, we’ll head to Sarein.

Day 10: Pleasant hot springs Experience in Sarein

Sarein has the largest medical warm water pool in Iran with water reaching 67 degrees. Also, we will have a trek around the city.

Day 11: Moving to Tabriz and Tabriz City Tour

Visiting Tabriz Grand Bazaar, the world’s largest interconnected market complex with an area of about one square kilometer, which is one of the architectural masterpieces of Iran as well as one of the largest and most important markets of Iran and the Asian continent. Then, we’ll visit the Blue Mosque. The element that has made the mosque a different tourist attraction is the cobalt blue (azure blue) tiles that have created a special beauty in the mosque and also has a different architecture than any other mosque in Iran.
